With Health Insurance the out of pocket was about $50 for co-pays.
On the average most people do not frequent a stay in a hospital. Think back to when you were in the hospital last. Probably one time every 10 years, huh? Get a High Deductible PPO plan with RX coverage at least. If you are in your 20′s it is probably around $60 a month. I know someone who is their 20′s, doesn’t have Health Insurance, and just fell off a roof. Will that cause life long pain untreated? Buying a bottle of Tequila will dull the pain for the moment – but that bottle of tequila will probably cover your Health Insurance premium.
